The Cyborg Jillian Weise, PhD
Associate Professor
Dr. Weise, a leading voice on human-machine relationships, introduced the "common cyborg" concept to The New York Times in 2010. Cy’s work, which includes coining the term "tryborg" and the new honorific "Cy" for disabled identity, led to a viral essay and a two-book deal with HarperCollins.
